Spielberg’s The Fabelmans

I had the pleasure of working with production designer Rick Carter to Set Design and Art Direct several sets for Steven Spielberg’s semi-autobiographical coming-of-age drama The Fabelmans, which was nominated for 7 Academy Awards including Best Picture and Best Production Design. Disney’s Chip & Dale: Rescue Rangers
Set Designer
A comeback 30 years in the making, the hybrid live-action/CG animated action-comedy catches up with the former Disney Afternoon television stars in modern-day Los Angeles. Chip ‘n Dale: Rescue Rangers is currently streaming on Disney+ and won an Emmy for Best TV Movie. The slideshow above includes a selection of my set design work on a few of my favorite sets, including “Main Street USA,” “Bjornson’s Cheese Shop,” “Pete’s Factory,” and the “Fishing Shack.” You can learn how I created the Main Street color-coded drafting here.
Marvel Studios’ Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness
Set Designer
Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, directed by Sam Raimi, follows Dr. Stephen Strange, America Chavez, and Wanda Maximoff (aka the Scarlet Witch) on a thrilling ride through the multiverse. Extensive Additional Photography work was done in Los Angeles, where I worked with art director Rachel Robb Kondrath and production designer Clint Wallace to create a few brand new sets plus a couple sets which needed to integrate seamlessly with elements already shot in Principal Photography. Above is a collection of plates I drafted in Vectorworks for the “Memory Bank,” “Wundagore Altar,” and “Sinister Sanctum” sets.
Netflix’s Day Shift

Day Shift stars Jamie Foxx as a hard-working, blue-collar dad who just wants to provide a good life for his quick-witted 8-year-old daughter. His mundane San Fernando Valley pool cleaning job is a front for his real source of income: hunting and killing vampires. Day Shift is currently streaming on Netflix.
